Digital TV And Rationed Electricity Too

Hundreds of high definition digital channels await you a mere 353 days, 12 hours, 10 minutes from right now.  Are you impressed?  No I am highly depressed.  What they tell you and what is behind the scenes.  It is much like the past seven years of legislation with noble sounding titles and hidden destructive memes.

This “change” is not for the better.

The Supreme Court did the right thing…

in rejecting ACLU vs. NSA today.

A number of good folks in the blogosphere are huffing and puffing over the Supreme Court’s rejection of the ACLU’s Petition for Certiori in the case of ACLU v. NSA.  They don’t need to.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court today dismissed the first legal challenge to President Bush’s warrantless wiretapping order, but without ruling on any of the key issues.

It is traditional and expected in our Federal system that the Supreme Court wait until a controversial legal issue is litigated in more than one of the lower Circuits before creating a binding precedent.  This way, the Supreme Court both allows for a broader range of opinion and ensures that a greater number of arguments and issues are considered before the Court decides the final law.

In ACLU vs. NSA, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals had the first bite at the apple on unwarranted wiretapping, and spit out a Bushie worm. Yet the sour 6th is not the only Circuit with a say about whether our government can secretly spy on us.

Infragard Warning Signals

On two occasions now and on two computers using totally different IP addresses the web site www.infragard.net not only fails to respond it locks up Internet Explorer also.  Discovered only a short time ago Infragard is a “partnership” of “information sharing” (data mining) of untold amounts of your personal life’s history between the FBI and the private business world.  Think of it as the RIAA on steriods, hauling two years olds off the the gulags for listening to an “illegal” copy of Sesame St.

You may want to refrain linking to the main Infragard site for some time.  Focus instead on the FBI.gov one, don’t think they will take that one down.

As already reported the corporate members of Infragard will have shoot to kill capacity in the event of martial law.  Deputy Dogs, don’t taze me bro was just far too tame for these psychopaths.  It’s been “upgraded”, don’t shoot me, Mr CEO.

What could be done is an accounting of “vanishing” sites located by using Google and other search engines to find places discussing “Infragard”.  Are they today none functioning when you know you saw them yesterday.  Is the internet “malfunction” something you have never encountered before?

Consider doing it on an “expendable” computer.  I have a work laptop so if it frys there is an entire IT department.

Bring this latest piece of Satan inspired totalitarian fascism directly into the light.  Ah, it CAN”T be true you say?  How have your last seven years turned out?

Tom Petty sings

Super Bowl Sunday, the epitome of Americana.  Lest there not be another wardrobe malfunction.  A geriatric rendition of “I won’t back down”.  I find this sort of a lost cause in today’s “post 911 HR 1955 world”.

While the words and the music may touch my soul the real substance of the matter escapes me as I continue my persuit of establishing the date on which I get to mount my Apocalyptic horse.  As Biblical Apocalypses go God has given me the impression that the fire and brimstone normally associated with Biblical Armageddon scenarios need not be accompanied by physical destruction of all humanity itself but might instead relate to a radical “change” in the attitudes of people.  In legalese it is the Ghandi escape clause.

The next song was “free, free falling”, kind of like WTC 1,2 and Seven.

I submit all of you are making a difference.  Your observations of reality, the echo of your blogposts into NSA HQ room 423B are making a diference.  Your watchful eyes stabbing the heart of evil deceptions in political thinking are making a difference.

Rational thinking I hope will prevail, if not we are toast.

He is a cool horse though.

Be creative in your own personal White Rose opposition endeavors.

Did I Steal Myself?

Well now that technology “allows” me to whip out a cell phone to pay my cell phone bill while waiting in the dentist’s office this “convienience comes at a price.  It is apparently so convienient most of the internet connected world has their hand in your pocketbook.  For a price these two companies will ask the question for you, “Did I Steal Myself”.

Now the added bonus in all this is secondary.  They are getting you to pay to advance the science of data mining.

And you thought FISA was bad?

Anyway I think it just illustrates the principle of how some retarded ideas come to be institutionalized.  People are trusting their most intimate details by loading them into a toy, a toy which has to “update” itself every five minutes because there is a “security alert”.  And no, I don’t know anyone in Nigeria so I do not believe their government owes me 10 million dollars, Oh, and I don’t have an account with Bank of America.

OK, so you might say big deal, I’m not doing anything illegal so I don’t have a care right?  Required homework assignment.  Study fully this site.  Click on it associated links, peruse the content and absorb the true evil.

The Apocalyptic horses are in great spirits today!

NSA Program Conceived Under Clinton

The project was described in the ATT sales division documents as calling for the construction of a facility to store and retain data gathered by the NSA from its domestic and foreign intelligence operations but was to be in actuality a duplicate ATT Network Operations Center for the use and possession of the NSA that would give the NSA direct, unlimited, unrestricted and unfettered access to all call information and internet and digital traffic on ATT’s long distance network. […]

The NSA program was initially conceived at least one year prior to 2001 but had been called off; it was reinstated within 11 days of the entry into office of defendant George W. Bush.

Telecom Immunity

Bush pushes for telecom immunity
By JENNIFER LOVEN, Associated Press Writer
21 minutes ago

WASHINGTON – President Bush said Wednesday that he will not sign a new eavesdropping bill if it does not grant retroactive immunity to U.S. telecommunications companies that helped conduct electronic surveillance without court orders.

A proposed bill unveiled by Democrats on Tuesday does not include such a provision. Bush, appearing on the South Lawn as that measure was taken up in two House committees, said the measure is unacceptable for that and other reasons.

A top Democratic leader opened the door on Tuesday to allowing an immunity provision. But House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said the Bush administration must first detail what the companies did. About 40 pending lawsuits name telecommunications companies for alleged violations of wiretapping laws.

Bush detailed criteria that the bill must meet before he would sign it, including the immunity provision and the broad requirement that it “ensure that protections intended for the American people are not extended to terrorists overseas who are plotting to harm us.”
