Changiness

Friend —

One year ago today, you made history.

We all knew that electing Barack Obama President was only the opportunity to bring about change; that we would all have to keep working to fulfill the promise our victory offered.

And you’ve come through — by making hundreds of thousands of calls to Congress to push health reform forward, by pouring your effort into seemingly insurmountable challenges time and again, and, since January, by building on the power of our campaign to create Organizing for America.

And now, with the finish line on health reform in sight, we need your voice more than ever before.

To mark this special day, President Obama just recorded a video for supporters like you — please watch his message, and sign up to join OFA in your community today.

Thank you so much for fighting so hard and giving so much to make the promise of a stronger, more just and prosperous America in the years ahead a reality:

My best,

David Plouffe

was one of the blogs I stopped reading when Aravosis went off the rails about Hillary Clinton. Looks like he’ pretty disillusioned by what he bought into. I could have told him but he wouldn’t have listened.

  3. and I all I got was Hope for Change.

Now Plouffe can keep hoping for my change, ‘cuz he ain’t gonnna see a dime of it.

  4. They say absolutely nothing, nothing!

They’ve taken that so called magic database, and are feeding it shit.

WTF are they doing? They’re in la la land.

Every week that goes by, this “thing” seems more and more surrealistic; What was that last election about?

You talk about a vanishing act.

At 61 yrs old I was certain that I was going to witness another New Frontier excitement; what a shocking disappointment. The last week or so has really been a joke.

Democrats are bumping into each other like the 3 Stooges.

They can keep me in the dark and feed me shit,

but that don’t mean I have to eat it.

There’s a long line forming up ahead

but if I hurry I think I’ll beat it.

are carefully worded to mean everything and nothing at the same time, depending on your point of view.

Never guilty, never wrong, doesn’t make right.

  5. I was somewhat excited and admit I was in tears. When the young people asked me how I feel I said I never thought this country would elect a black man for President, at least not in my life time. I had reservations, but hoped for the best. Surely he wouldn’t throw away the opportunity of a life time, to create a movement of Change.

I should’ve listened to one of my neighbors who said.” BHO is not black enough, he has the color but none of the pain. He’s a con man.” He was right.
