    There’s been a lot of speculation over at Big Orange about an October Surprise.  I’m with the group that thinks it’s already happened: only the surprise was on the GOP side.

    “Who could have ever imagined that our economy would tank after the housing bubble burst?  Who could even have ever suspected that there WAS a housing bubble?”

    heh I am not enjoying the possibility of a Greater Depression…no, not at all–it will be devastating…but I am enjoying that there is only one party on whom it can be blamed…and it ain’t the Dems.

  4. to 8394 Thursday morning, so the low from Oct 10th has been eclipsed.  And with earnings reports to come I don’t know who could have just had a good quarter.  Even those poor folks at Halliburton are tanking.
