Kucinich on the Issues: It’s All There in Black and White! w/poll

One of the small joys of being a Kucinich supporter is that we know where Dennis stands on most issues, and we know that, as a scrapper, he will do is utmost to see that those issues are supported/defeated as they need to be.  It’s a strong point, knowing that your candidate doesn’t turn at the slightest change of the political wind.

Now you, too, can see what Dennis supports by going to his Issues PDF Library!

I’ll vote for that which I belive in! Kuicnich 2008! w/poll

How can we demand courage from our leaders when we have so little?

How can we demand courage from our leader when we have so little?

How can we continue to support candidates who do not support us NOW?

How can we uphold the Constitution when we allow others to abrogate our most important responsibility, our vote?

How can we beg for change when we cannot face change?

How can we save the planet when we cannot save ourselves?

Follow me below the fold and I will give you my take on why who and what we are can be another recipe for a continuing disaster.

Kucinich answers your questions at 10questions.com

10questions.com had a video quesiton for the candidates contest in which the top 10 vote getters were asked of the questions.  Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama, Mike Gravel, John Edwards and Mike Huckabee have been the candidates who have answered the questions.  Dennis and Barack show as only having nine questions answered.

Five Democrats didn’t vote: Iraq War fudning and Feingold/Reid w/poll

Gosh, oh gee.  You would think that Iraq funding would be worth voting on.  You would think that Feingold/Reid would be voting on.  You would think that standing up to Dick and W would be worth voting on.

If you’re a Senator and running for President, you’d think that they would think these issues would be worth voting on.

You’d be wrong!

Kucinich ‘Peace Train’ rolls through California this weekend w/poll

Ah, the days of a whistle stop tour!  One can just imagine Lincoln as he moved from Springfield to Washington DC in 1861:

Impeachment: Wexler Wants Hearings, and more!

Robert Wexler (D-FL-19), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, is pushing forward to hold hearings on the impeachment of Dick Cheney!

His reasoning:

Wexler wants hearings!  You can sign up in support of the call for hearings on the impeachment of Dick Cheney!

Des Moines Register bars Kucinich and Gravel from Debate

Oh the Fear of the Corporate Controllers and Managers of our world!

I wish I had a photo of a gnarling tiger to put here.  But I can only say,

DO SOMETHING!  DO SOMETHING NOW!

The “Des Moines Register” has banned Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel from tomorrow’s Democratic debates.  Here’s the reason, as reported in 12/13/07 USA today:

Kucinich protests exclusion from Des Moines debate; should he get an invitation?

Six-term Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich is crying foul over tomorrow’s Des Moines Register debate for Democratic presidential candidates. The campaign today issued a lengthy protest against his exclusion from the debate, the last before the Jan. 3 caucuses.

The newspaper’s standards for participation include at least 1% in its statewide poll and an office and paid staff in Iowa. Republican Alan Keyes, who has not been in any debates this year and has done little if any campaigning, has made the cut for today’s GOP debate, which we’ll be live-blogging here at 2 p.m. ET.

Kucinich’s campaign said today he has been excluded because “his Iowa field director operates from a home office rather than a rented storefront.” The campaign quoted newspaper editor Carolyn Washburn as saying, “It was our determination that a person working out of his home did not meet our criteria for a campaign office and full-time paid staff in Iowa.”

Kucinich’s campaign says Marcos Rubinstein, its field director and state coordinator, runs the campaign from his home office in Dubuque, “bolstered by a dozen-or-so other senior campaign staff who have traveled the state over the past several months.”

The campaign also notes that Kucinich is the top-ranked candidate in online polls conducted by Democracy For America and Progressive Democrats of America and both groups plan to advertise for him.

What do you think? Should Kucinich get an invitation? Should Mike Gravel get an invitation? Was it right to include Keyes in today’s debate? We welcome your (polite, civil and thoughtful) comments.

I’ve got to go to a doctor’s appointment, so I can’t write any more than this.  But you know how to find it.  Go there and leave your comments.  I did.  I’ll also mail the DMR later.

Impeachment: “Constitutional Scholar” Obama Opposed! w/poll

Apparently Senator Obama taught Constitutional law at one time.  Good for him.  Bad, apparently, for those who wish to hold the current administration accountable for their crimes.  Bad, apparently, for those who are worried that Dick and W aren’t restrained by the law or the Constitution (since they haven’t been during their entire administration).

Kucinich Says He’s Preparing 50-Page Bush Articles of Impeachment

So, Joe Biden says he’d be for impeachment of W if we attack Iran.  Chris Dodd says he  might be for impeachment if Iran is attacked.

Bully boys, at least you are in the lead of the other candidates.

Well…not really.

You see, there’s Dennis Kucinich!
