O’Reilly predicts Pelosi’s MURDER in violent tea party, even Beck balks. “It’s gonna get ugly”

    Sick Fux.

BECK: Last week, I head you say that – you were on with Dennis Miller. … You two were talking about an insurrection coming.

O’REILLY: Tax revolt.

BECK: He used the word insurrection. And not in a comedic way.

O’REILLY: Yeah, tax revolt. I think people, when they figure out how badly they’re going to get hurt in the next few years, there’s going to be a tea party on taxes and its gonna get nasty. Nancy Pelosi’s going to be bobbing up and down in the Boston Harbor.

This statement appeared to be too much for Beck even, who replied, “Uh, I don’t think that’s necessary.”

    More below the fold.

What will inspire this hoped for insurrection? Certainly not words spoken over and over and over by the likes of Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly and the rest of the ClusterFox crew. No, it’ll be grassrootsy. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

And Glenn Beck’s shallow, feigned sigh of “That’s not necessary” falls kind of short when he himself has joked about poisoning Nancy Pelosi.

This is, without a doubt, as close as you can come to actually calling for a violent insurrection without actually saying “We should have a violent insurrection.” This is more like hoping for an insurrection, and then setting up the buses to get people to the insurrection, promoting it and then walking around in the middle of it while saying loudly “If we do have to kill someone here, I can think of a few names.”

And this, this is fair and balanced. Have you ever heard anybody in the media openly daydream about the public murder of a Republican? I’m not saying they should, nor would I condone it if someone did, but can you just imagine what would happen if that were to happen? Certainly that person would be fired on the spot if they worked for an orgaqnization that gave two shits about their reputation. Sadly, Fox doesn’t have two shits to spare, both of them are busy occupying the hosts jobs of the Gleen Beck and Bill O’Reilly shows.

Very recently, Actual Neo-Nazi’s attempted to join an anti-immigration tea party. It says a lot about your political movement when actual Nazi’s are on your side, and it says a lot about the people leading your movement when they are less disturbed by that then the poor, misled people who are actually there on the ground. It is both sad and ironic that the people shreiking about creeping fascism are on the same side of the political spectrum as actual fascists.

That doesn’t excuse the organizers and promoters of this disgrace to our nation. IF any violence takes place at any of these astroturfed tea party tax revolts, the blame lies squarely on the shoulders of their biggest cheerleaders at Fox and their enablers in the Republican party. IF any harm should come to Speaker Pelosi, or any other elected official, the blood will be on THEIR hands. May the Gods forbid such a thing should happen.

The real crime is the one committed every day by these sick fux against our Democracy. What goes on at Fox and in the Republican party on a daily basis is nothing short of an actual insurrection against our Democracy. They shriek at the rule of law and prefer authoritarianism, they hide Corporatist intent behind a fake populist platform, they undermine our Democracy at every chance they get, and all in the name of “freedom and liberty”. Congressman Alan Grayson was 100% right when he said that Fox and the Republican party is the enemy, and Joseph Goebbels would certainly be proud of the propaganda job they are doing. Hell, they are practically running his playbook!

The fact that the tea party protests mirror fascism in their hate of the other, inspired by the moneyed powers that would manipulate people, defend torture and the Governments illegal spying on citizens and war crimes is undeniable, and Godwin forgive me for bringing it up, but it is not fiction, it is reality, and when the people who are the biggest promoters of the “insurrection” against Democracy openly daydream of murder and violent revolution against a Democratically elected Governemnt, well, it doesn’t take much to see what sort of people they truly stand with, and what disgusting means they would allow to be used to come to their preferred ends.

  2. just now, on Gestapo, the key factors of Nazi rule were their ability to arrest any one, at any time, and hold them indefinitely.

    Remind you of any one?

    9/11 was the Reichstag Fire.

There was a news blurb this AM on the radio, that CNN paid Dobbs $8 million to leave because of his racist stand on immigration and his support of the Birth Certificate nonsense. Dobbs will fit right in with this fascist bunch.

  3. has been ongoing since the 60’s…it took a major leap forward with 9/11 and Homeland Security and the Patriot Act…there’s one more step to complete the process, and that’s coming when chaos ensues under any number of happenstances. It could happen under Dem or Repub rule…everything is in place.

The Republican Party has slimmed itself down from the big tent fascist party to the streamlined incredibly fascist party, they are ready, and they WILL regain power again, that’s how this country rolls.

Ask yourself why haven’t Obama and the Dems moved, while they have a majority, to curtail this extreme rhetoric and draconian policies. Freedom of Speech? Nah, like you said MoT, what would happen if these things were said of a Republican.

  4. h/t to digby who blogged about it, but the story, video, with TRANSCRIPT is over at Crooks n Liars: Teabaggers punk’d by anti-racists who get them to cheer rant against European-American immigrants

“Columbus Go Home! Columbus Go Home! Columbus Go Home!”

At first glance, I admit, its smartass, gleeful and kinda funny, but keep reading to the end…

I’ve been warning for awhile that there is a violent element already involved in the immigration debate, and when they become empowered by the “tea party” types, it’s going to get ugly. Looks like the debate hasn’t even started yet, and it already is.

If you thought the town-hall teabaggers went nuts over health-care reform, just wait.

Included there are some more comments from a blogger who was there:

Most of the MINN-SIR supporters were slow to catch the satire, and so the cheering from that side of the crowd took a while to subside. As they realized they’d been punked, they stood in a cold, stunned silence, while the 30 or so counter-protesters urged Columbus to go home.

Unfortunately, some of the pro-MINN-SIR audience made up for what they lacked in humor through the use of violence. Both Danielson and I saw middle-aged men attack young protesters, knocking one off a bike before he started throwing punches at the young man.

Just as shocking was the reaction of the state police working the rally, who pushed back those being attacked, rather than those attacking the counter protesters.

  5. “current events”. I suggested to him that we might be

entering a truly dangerous period. He said that wasn’t the way he saw it at all (he’s been a hard core activist for 40+ years). He views these periods as a manifestation of an authoritarianism that has been here since day one. Then we quickly scanned our history and, of course, he is right. However what we both agreed on was that our Democratic triumphs during FDR and other progressive legislation that hit a peak around 1970 seem to have slowly come to a final halt, like the subway coming to a slow stop in a very dark part of the tunnel.

I think what we’re seeing right now is an expression of corporate fascism, where the language of violence is used by propagandists and the influence of bribery employed by lobbyists. What is absolutely shocking to me is that it is now 2010, not 1910! [What was it that Bush said after 9/11?; I can’t quite recall. If you’re not with us, you’re against us……..?   I think that’s the message, kind of wrapped in militaristic language. Very Third Reichish—–

    fortunately without the Fuhrer———-Yet————-

Amazingly, we’ve never succumbed to a real life Mussolini, but I know the Native Americans and African Americans might have a different take. We sure came close with McCain and Palin. The fascists are droooooooooling——-

with the demonization of Muslims. Remember what happened after 9/11 with the “round-up” of Muslims and the detentions? How soon we forget. See the movie “Siege”, 1998 for a look at what can be.

  6. Photobucket

but any excuse to take out a Tea Bagger, and the Cap’n will be there.

Secret Service gets +20 Defense with Captain Kidd and can now up their Armor Class…..

some days, only music says it.

  7. As far as Pelosi?  Three days after the election she lost me with the continuation of Bush’s GWOT with HR 1.

Nazi right wing/globalist Nazi left wing Marxism what is the difference.  Is there much point in putting labels on de-populated people.
