Can’t seem to get my mind off of you

Back here at home there’s nothin’ to do

Now that I’m away

I wish I’d stayed

Tomorrow’s a day of mine that you won’t be in

When you looked at me I should’ve run

But I thought it was just for fun

I see I was wrong

And I’m not so strong

I should’ve known all along that time would tell

A week without you

Thought I’d forget

Two weeks without you and I

Still haven’t gotten over you yet

Vacation

All I ever wanted

Vacation

Had to get away

Vacation

Meant to be spent alone

Vacation

All I ever wanted

Vacation

Had to get away

Vacation

Meant to be spent alone

A week without you

Thought I’d forget

Two weeks without you and I

Still haven’t gotten over you yet

Vacation

All I ever wanted

Vacation

Had to get away

Vacation

Meant to be spent alone

Vacation

All I ever wanted

Vacation

Had to get away

Vacation

Meant to be spent alone

Vacation

All I ever wanted

Vacation

Had to get away

Vacation

Meant to be spent alone

Sign Along With Mitch

What about I’m busy do people have a hard time understanding?

Follow the bouncing ball.

I was not alone, but back in the clouds of thousands who won’t let you get away once you’ve been Capo di Tutti.

My father’s no different than any other powerful man, any man who’s responsible for other people. Like a Senator or a President.

You know how naive you sound?

Why?

Senators and Presidents don’t have men killed.

Oh, who’s being naive, Kay?

Especially when you owe favors to the Barzinis.

Politics is Business.  Not Personal.

Bonasera, we know each other for years, but this is the first time you come to me for help.  I don’t remember the last time you invited me to your house for coffee… even though our wives are friends.

What do you want of me?  I’ll give you anything you want, but do what I ask!

And what is that Bonasera?

No.  You ask for too much.

I ask for Justice.

The Court gave you justice.

An eye for an eye!

But your daughter is still alive.

Then make them suffer as she suffers.  How much shall I pay you?

You never think to protect yourself with real friends.  You think it’s enough to be an American.  All right, the Police protects you, there are Courts of Law, so you don’t need a friend like me.

But now you come to me and say Don Corleone, you must give me justice.  And you don’t ask in respect or friendship.  And you don’t think to call me Godfather; instead you come to my house on the day my daughter is to be married and you ask me to do murder…for money.

America has been good to me…

Then take the justice from the judge, the bitter with the sweet, Bonasera.  But if you come to me with your friendship, your loyalty, then your enemies become my enemies, and then, believe me, they would fear you…

Be my friend.

Good.  From me you’ll get Justice.

Godfather.

Some day, and that day may never come, I would like to call upon you to do me a service in return.

Give this job to Clemenza.  I want reliable people, people who aren’t going to be carried away.  I mean, we’re not murderers, in spite of what this undertaker thinks.

Who’s being naive Kay?

Sometimes I play with my garden more than others.

I knew Santino was going to have to go through all this and Fredo… well, Fredo was…  But I, I never wanted this for you.  I work my whole life, I don’t apologize, to take care of my family.  And I refused to be a fool dancing on the strings held by all of those big shots.  That’s my life, I don’t apologize for that.  But I always thought that when it was your time, that you would be the one to hold the strings.  Senator Corleone, Governor Corleone, something.

Another pezzonovante.

Well, there wasn’t enough time, Michael.  There just wasn’t enough time.

We’ll get there, Pop.  We’ll get there.

Barzini will move against you first.

How?

He will get in touch with you through someone you absolutely trust.  That person will arrange a meeting, guarantee your safety…

…and at that meeting you will be assassinated.

How is your husband feeling?

He’s not the same since they shot him.  He lets Michael do all the work.  He just plays the fool with his garden, his peppers, his tomatoes, as if he was some peasant still.  But men are like that.

    You were sorely missed.

  9. Did you bring me anything?

  10. again. Good, now the net will entertain and mystify again. Playing the fool with peppers and tomatoes myself lately. Transferring obsession to vegetation I’m finding they offer like the pols, visions and expectations of bounty, but require endless feeding, weeding, and bucking up. A ruthless business. Good to read you. Sorry to go all clingy when you were busy. That’s the thing you turn around there is an essential element gone missing, the one you didn’t plant, never knew quite what it was, but it tied the place together and was resilient to the bugs.
