  1. Said there was no internal White House investigation into the Plame leak (despite Bush saying he would look into it).

  2. There is some kind of FISA vote on the floor.   They are going to take a short recess while they go take care of that business.

  3. to CSpan2.  Will repeat tonight on CSpan.

from what I’ve read so far.

Meanwhile, the gutting of our basic rights continues apace.  I feel so goddamn fucking safe from terrorists today, I can’t even begin to fucking express how fucking safe I feel with this goddamn Congress looking out for me.

  4. Scott McClelallan, former Deputy Press Secretary to George W. Bush, testified before the House Committee on the White House cover up of the leak of information that Valerie Plame Wilson was a Central Intelligence Agency covert operative.

McClellan stated that the White House continues to conceal information on this matter:

“This matter continues to be investigated by Congress because of what the White House has chosen to conceal from the public,” McClellan told the House Judiciary Committee. “Despite assurances that the administration would discuss the matter once the special counsel had completed his work, the White House has sought to avoid public scrutiny and accountability.”
