Pony Party: Sunday music retrospective

Loving Spoonful

What a day for a Daydream

Yes, this is a rerun.  I got sort of busy today.  But it is also the case that Debbie heard Nashville Cats on Prairie Home Companion last night and we got to talking and it turns out that she doesn’t know much about the Spoonful.

Do You Believe in Magic?

Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind?

Please do not recommend a Pony Party when you see one.  There will be another along in a few hours.

My monitor decided not to do red for awhile, right in the middle of adding art to my diary, so I’m going to have to save, reboot, reload, etc.

    to replay…

    (^.^)

  1. the Loving Spoonful. But the video of “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind” didn’t work, so I went looking for another one.

And I accidentaly found one of Paolo Nutini singing “Daydream.” Have you guys heard him – he’s amazing.

  2. why do modern songs have to be so long? This great tune is about 2:10 and is complete. It doesn’t have some into that goes on too long, it doesn’t have a pointless repeat at the end, dragging it on for another minute or two.

Now where’s Six O’Clock? Must be around here someplace…
