Hope From a Dumpster

Fifty five years of accumulating suburban junk is alot.  More amazing is how the family is embracing our forced move to a far more rural, less expensive place.

All of the electronics for the alternative energy projects I never got around to went in the dumpster.  Didn’t realize I had three microwave oven transformers to make tesla coils out of, two complete oil burner guns, and a non-working 225 amp car battery charger from Sears.

Some engineering books I thought I would never part with, others from the business degree but most painful are the simple things left by the kids, each of which carry those powerful memories of far happier times.

More later after I play with my socioMom.

  1. it’s in our nature to cherish our creative hopes and ideas, books, above all, and most of all of everything, those little things that our kid or kids did, the first little drawings, writings, etc., so, so, precious!

but most painful are the simple things left by the kids, each of which carry those powerful memories of far happier times.

And last and least, even, our junk, we had forgotten about!

    Thinking and wishing . . . . . . .!

  2. …. assistant power, or getting into motorscooters for cheaper transportation, might be a good hobby to get into.

That and little cooking stoves for when the power goes out.
