According to the vet, they still don’t know if the lump was cancer or not — it was well encapsulated but not like a typical cyst. He also had a dental infection that was quite serious, so several teeth were removed. He’s in recovery now. I am very happy with the caring vet and so happy the goal was to get Twistie better and not to break my back.
I am very anxious to see him – he’s in recovery now and I am picking him up in a couple of hours. He’s going to be in a lot of pain for the next week or so, but I have pain meds for him.
