Lots of you have heard me talk about her… so I finally got a digital camera so I could show her to you. She showed up at the door about three years ago and told me I would be allowed to pay the rent and buy the food for the rest of her life. I didn’t really have any choice in the matter. I guess I’m her human…

I wake up to my little Egyptian godling, Jim. And my big-footed poopie-dog… er, puppy… Starfish the Shepherd. So far Starfish hasn’t proved very good at keeping the bears at bay. We’ve had 5 pass through and stay a few days apiece since March. Heck, she’s scared of the turkeys! I figure soon she’ll be big enough to realize she’s big. That’ll help, I hope.

  1. My second rescue looked like that. She was about 6mo old, pregnant and abandoned (the people had moved out without her)and one night she dropped her newborn at my feet. I got her to come in and made a place for her in my bedroom. She clearly did not know what to do with her baby so I showed her. She relaxed and was able to nurse the little one.

A couple of days before I had dug up a newborn kitty who was buried alive and when I showed it to her she took it and nursed it together with her own. She was a great kitty, a true Angel.

You are blessed with a beautiful kitty.
