Eeyore Party & Open Thread

I got the hospital bill today. (broken wrists x 2)

I’ll be talking to some folks to figure out how all this works, but… damn.

    Despite 7 straight days of major downpours an oak right next to my house just turned brown and died overnight practically. Big money, but not hospital bill type money. The basement took in water but was dry the next so I’m calling that one as fixed itself. Rain predicted through Wednesday.

    The cool thing about all this water is it makes the house humid and I can sweep up the dog and cat hair with ease.

    Not that I like sweeping.

  5. not cutting off circulation but just… uncomfortable in a couple of spots, hard to describe. I might have to go back Monday and make them re -do it.  Will they do that? Will I have to beg?? sheesh.

    here’s one way to look at it LL:

    take all that money, you saved,

    NOT paying Insurance Premiums the last few years,

    and use “those savings”, to pay the Piper’s Bill now.

    And you’re probably still further ahead,

    than the rest of us paying those Premiums

    with each and every paycheck,

    getting so little in return.

    Here’s to you health, dear.
