Depose A Dharmanian! Change

Docudharma is a small community of very smart, stunningly attractive people. We may not have all the answers, but we certainly are witty and crafty enough to reply in an amusing fashion! So if you have a question, whether snarky, simple, political or philosophical, be it meta, meaty, maddening or impossible to answer,….what the hell? Post it here and see what happens! You have nothing to lose but your underwear! Heck, there is a chance it might even get answered, possibly even correctly!

Any questions?

What?

Still?

PLEASE REMEMBER, THIS IS A  COOPERATIVE EFFORT!!! MAKE SURE YOU TRY TO ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS WHILE YOU ARE HERE!!!

BTW 42 is NOT the meaning of life, my favorite color is blue, no,  green (I’m still here!), and tying fruit of any kind to swallows is indicative of a very peculiar and rare psychosexual disease….seek help! While speculating on the airspeed of UNLADEN swallows is a far milder form….I still urge you to examine your soul!  For those who have no idea what I am talking about I urge YOU to …Ask A Kossak!

This is where I usually do a little intro to the night’s questions, so here it is!

Barack Obama ran on a platform of change…and won. Which leads us to….

between a pessimist and an optimist is that the optimist says we live in the best of all possible worlds.

And the pessimist says… yeah, sigh, the optimist is probably right.

I don’t think I better answer any questions about change tonight. 😉

  2. is that first picture some tarot card “tower” depiction or a pictorial creation of how our limbs feels as we age and get osteoarthritis and need joint replacements?

    1) More people in the US may actually realize they’re socialists.

    2) The acceptance of Bush policies on many fronts just because we have a Dem in the Presidency.

    3) Ummm…let’s see….

    4) See 2.

    5) None.

    6) The revolution that’s coming.

    7) What does Obama wear without telling anyone?

    8) At this point, I don’t really want anything material from anybody, so no spare anything.

    . thunk .

kj falls over and hits the ground

moral of the short visual above, which can more aptly be described as an typed documentary for the small comment sized blog screen (entries not yet available for Academy Award consideration), no one expects to be called a… kossak!  alk!

    . thunk .

    (unasked for encore)

  4. You mean revolution?  Throw Buhdy off the throne (or wherever he sits)? What a revolting development that would be.

Oh, you mean depose as in ask questions?

    Never mind.

  5. Truely not meaning to offend as this is going to touch upon THE most critical of core platforms of conventional “left” thought, race.

    Have you felt a change?

Yes I have but quite sure it’s not good news, at least not yet.

In your personal view, what has been the biggest political change?

The Overton window is profoundly in play here as we navigate the shift from neo-con to kum-ba-ya.  Then again note that my belief is that one party “opposes” the “other” ideologywise in support of a tyrannical world government whose current civil rights model is Red China.

In your personal view, what has been the biggest “legal”  change?

Being most charitable and bestowing upon Obama the status of “Knight”, I do have to say that as captain of a massive ship the change in rudder angles has yet to respond.

In your personal view, what has been the biggest societal or cultural change?

Wow.  In my moments of commune with the paranormal world time appears to stop and the floodgates of the universe open wide leaving me dumbfounded and woefully inadequate in communicating such experiences to others.  My you live in interesting times.  Ya, well Lord, you have definitively delivered.

What has been the biggest change you have noticed in your own life?

Again a book but.  Potential land purchase in 1982, five acres for $65,000 with trailer and 2 car garage located in potential flood zone.  Same land today contains 3 houses one of which mysteriously gas exploded after flood damages.

The “affordable” housing across the street,a prison style five unit condo complex, built within spitting distance of wetlands were going for $460,000 a unit.  I was lucky to get my house in the 1980s for less than 1/4 of that.  Again I hate to beat a dead horse but the depths of my discontent?  How many pages in Atlas Shrugged?

What change are you still waiting for?

I want humanity to wake up.  I want people to connect with each other as innocent children do.  Kids may stare and notice people as different from themselves and they look wonder why out of curiosity.  Is the answer to their question answered by their elders and if so are the elders wise and benevolent?

Is diversity really an achievable egalitarian utopia or an excuse for government to deliberately mix races and creeds and then demand money and resources to control those who can’t handle it.  Is it merely justification for wage suppression as oppressed people will definitely work harder for less compensation.  Should I rethink my refusal to answer race questions on job applications in consideration of the simple fact that IF all men are equal then why does the establishment insist upon collecting data on my race simply to shove into their digitally permanent race database?  Does the conventionally prescribed debate/conflict over race issues prevent the response and answer of “Why do you hate me so” and can we just get along.  Do we really need parasitically oriented entities to take charge of the situation, for a price of course.

Or have I simply had way to many beers.
