Should Bush be Hung or Face Life Imprisonment? Buglioisi says he should stand trial for MURDER!

Should George Bush face the death Penalty or life imprisonment?

If proven guitly of murder those two choices would have to be considered. Would Texas be the site of the execution or imprisonment?

According to Vincent Bugliosi the president should be prosecuted for murder. Vincent Bugliosi is considered by some the greatest prosecutor in America. Here’s a portion of his interview with little known “non towering” journalist, Amy Goodman.

Unfortunately for George Bush-and I don’t know how he could get around this at his trial-on October the 1st, six days earlier, the CIA sent George Bush its 2002 National Intelligence Estimate, a report from sixteen US intelligence agencies-there’s a strong sound in my ear here, there’s a big rattling sound here. Anyway, he was sent this report representing the consensus opinion of all sixteen US intelligence agencies on the issue of whether Hussein was an imminent threat to the security of this country. There’s a lot of noise in my left ear, a constant rattle; if you can get rid of it, I’d appreciate it. And-well, it’s not stopping. And on page eight of this ninety-one-page report, page eight, it clearly and unequivocally says-and, by the way, what I’m about to tell you, to my knowledge, has never appeared in any national newspaper or magazine in America; it may have, but to my knowledge, I’ve never heard this said before in any of the major magazines or newspapers of America. Page nine-page eight, ninety-one-page report, clearly and unequivocally says that Hussein was not an imminent threat to the security of this country, that he would only be a threat if he feared that America was about to attack him. In other words, he would only be a threat if he was forced to fight in self-defense.

So we know-not “think,” but we know-that when George Bush told the nation on the evening of October the 7th, 2002, Cincinnati, Ohio, that Hussein was an imminent threat to the security of this country, he was telling millions of unsuspecting Americans the exact opposite of what his own CIA was telling him. So if we had nothing else at all, this alone shows us that he took this nation to war on a lie, and therefore, all of the killings in Iraq of American soldiers became unlawful killings and therefore murder.

In a little know interview hidden in the crevices of “journalism” on Democracy Now! Bugliosi lays out the case for the charge of murder against George Bush.

But is it ALL George Bush’s fault? Hasn’t this information been available to the public for sometime? Hasn’t the American public voted Bush in as president on two occassions?

Hasn’t the public, and in fact many liberal organization refused to call for even impeachment of a man who Bugliosi feels should stand trial for murder?

Perhaps a lottery should be drawn among the American public and those unfortunate to lose the lottery should be imprisoned executed by lethat injection or hung as was Saddaam Hussien. The charge against the American people would be for complicity for murder of 5.000 American Troops and 1.2 Million Iraqi’s. Or, according to Bugliosi, the charges should just involve the murder of American troops. This is of course after Bush and a selected lottery of 5% of the Amercan people are found guilty after standing trial. If found innocent, perhaps Bush could run for a third term. Bugliosi feels that Bush would be found guilty and by implication, in my opinion, the American people.

But unfortunately, we can’t execute All Americans. Walmart would go out of business. Perhaps 5% of the population. That seems fair. That would equal the 5% of the total Iraqi’ population who have been killed as a result of this war. 20 Million Americans executed or imprisoned for life for murder. That might be fair.

That way you’ll have a better chance at winning.

Why would you be supporting the Bush defense:

We’re all guilty, even people on the jury, so if you find George W. Bush guilty, then you must find yourselves guilty as well.

That argument has been used by tyrants for eons.  How do you think this helps?

  1. You finally publish a diary.

Usually all I get to read are your comments.

You really think Amy Goodman is “little known”? What liberal organizations are you referring to? Pretty much everybody here at DD supports impeachment and jail time for Bush.

Your suggesting for executing American civilians reminds me of a weird Shirley Jackson scenario. I don’t support that. True we have Iraqi blood on our hands. But your point that many Americans seemed all to willing to go along with the destruction of Iraq is well taken.

When I agreed against the invasion my colleagues called me a communist. Not to hard to be called a communist when you live in the Bible Belt.

  2. under all circumstances.

Perhaps a lottery should be drawn among the American public and those unfortunate to lose the lottery should be imprisoned executed by lethat injection or hung as was Saddaam Hussien.

But especially under circumstances where the imposition would result in the genocide of 20 million people.

  3. Only it involves our troops.  First there’s the chance you will get activated, then the odds that you’ll be sent to Iraq, and then a real random selection of who lives and who dies.

But is it ALL George Bush’s fault? Hasn’t this information been available to the public for sometime?

Does that make you responsible, since you didn’t get around to posting this until now?

    Get a grip.

  4. …Sorry, I cannot get involved in this StuPidiTy.  The world, the situation is not all bad.  You, Stu piddy are not all bad, nor all correct.

How about a little tolerance and inclusion?  How about interacting with us, with others? I have many faults, but I am trying to work toward humility and understranding without masochistically accepting abuse.

Let’s work to improve this truly bad situation, not aggravate it further.
