    I’ll buy you a beer when I see you.

  1. I think we’ve covered how I feel about this issue.  So much so I’ll be jiggered if I register even to comment.

    One thing I think it’s important to realize about blogging psuedonymously is that in exchange you give up your ability to appeal to your authority and reputation.  For me that’s a small sacrifice because I’m nobody special.

    I hope I have built a reputation as ek hornbeck of making statements that can be independently verified and now after several years am entitled to some presumptions of good faith.

    All I’ve ever asked is that you test my conclusions, you don’t have to believe them just because I say so.

  2. Thanks, will check it out, though I doubt I have a comment left in me before coffee:}

  3. is supposed to be: priceless.

  4. the wingnuts go on rampages to destroy people’s businesses who openly display their liberal political beliefs. It has happened and continues to happen.

    Anonymity is more than worthwhile to be able to express one’s beliefs and criticisms of the status quo and ruling classes.

    I tried to post over there but it took too long to load. So instead of a beer just pass me a joint and I’ll be happy! 🙂

    clicked the link as instructed and quickly skimmed sd. pd. for opinion.  Now, as I am currently in Dublin, its off for a Guinness.  Suppose I have to pay for it as I failed to comment.

  5. I’ve had many names, in my life, but I am still me, or not.I don’t care to know who the ones I talk to are in the mundane world, to me they are their on line persona. I like a little mystery it’s fun. Much more exotic to let the persona behind the handle become real in this world. Too much data in the real world, anyway, all just makes for more junk mail.
