V for Vendetta (No Women, No Kids)

A biography on Duke’s Facebook page reads: “My Testament: Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)… no… I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats… same-same… rich… they take turns fleecing us… our few dollars… pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%… the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us…”

Dear Obama,

To prevent further craziness, maybe, i dunno, you might wanna help out some of the poor in your country to prevent desperate “end of my rope” outbursts like this from happening again.

Where there is no opportunity, no hope, there will be despair and acts that threaten us all when they are carried out.

Or should I talk to your Dad and our new substitute President, Bill Clinton, about this adult issue?

Sincerely,

Jack

  1. whether it’s inability to estimate and adjust for recoil or his intention not to really harm anyone but himself, we’ll never know because he later committed suicide.

As expected, according to one board member after the incident, the reason he survived is because God made a visit and spared him….

are not born, they are created.

It takes years to pack the explosives, decades to instill the wick, and utter despair to light the wick….

    I hope he hears you….

But I doubt it, the privileged never do.

  2. No truer words spoken!

Where there is no opportunity, no hope, there will be despair and acts that threaten us all when they are carried out.

Now, think of the despair we’ve caused the world over, where there was already hunger and poverty and where we continuously aggressed such nations only to impoverish, maim, kill even further (taking whatever resources they may have had — throw Haiti in here, too) for the purposes set forth by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, etc.!!!!!

Desperation causes people to behave desperately!  Unfortunately, we will see more of this sort of thing.  I’m not convinced the guy was out to kill anyone though — he was making a statement, in his mind!  Very sad among so many, many sad stories.

A friend of mine was riding the local downtown trains in Chicago which he hadn’t done in a while, and told me, “it’s a whole ‘nuther world — people are begging on the trains, for anything . . . . ”  How sad is it?

These are the people who have been PAYING through the nose the past 10 years plus, for the wars of aggression, the criminals acts of Wall Street and the Banks, loss of their 401-k’s, homes, savings, whatever bit they may have had, and then, were required, against their will, to bail out the criminals on Wall Street and the Banks.

Now, these people who have no jobs, no income and whose unemployment has run out (I read the laws concerning this, BTW, and it says that in bad economic times, the unemployment benefits should be extended), are being pitted against the wealthy and their scream for some $700 billion dollars worth of tax cuts!

    Unbelievable!!!!!

Notwithstanding that the first American Revolution began here.

It takes some humbling and desperation to get a struggling middle class family rep off their butt and into the local welfare office for food stamps or heating assistance. When they get there they find the lines of the permanent underclass ahead of them. Those people know the dates, rulesand the new circumstances of each years vagaries.

Wat was there lastyear has been cut in half as billionaires don’t have to suffer that 3% return on only their top income from 36% to 39%. That is where the main battle is being waged. It is obscene.

The lines are longer than ever. The funds are less than ever. Thank God, we live in MA because we have MassHealth. Everyone gets health insurance – and very decent insurance a that. The most common form of foreclosure and bankruptcy in the nation is a health care disaster.

But that said, the desperation in the lines and the ever longer processing time for the increased number of applicants is causing major social stress.

There will be dozens if not hundreds more pushed beyond the brink before this is over. The  abstract debate of deficit fighting and permanent tax cuts for the ultrawealthy will have their costs.

Worst of all, under Obama’s capitulation, Social Security reduction will drop by one third. In 2012 the will mean campaigning on a 50% tax hike on social security with-holdings. How fucking dumbb are they that they can’t see that coming? The Republicans have put the camel’s nose under the tent of entitlement spending. It’s only a matter of time until the great middle and lower classes are pushed over the edge.

The sooner the better. Wake up now or find ourselves locked in psychologically in 2012.
