Now We’re Talkin’!

Karl Rove created American Crossroads to continue his 40-year history of unfairly manipulating elections on behalf of oligarchs. He joined with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a cabal of corporate barons, and other CEOs that want Big Business to control our elections and our government.

Rove’s group plans to amass more than $50 million from companies making secret donations, and spend that money to influence elections and buy candidates who will act on behalf of those companies and their deregulatory policies. These same polices brought us Enron, the collapse of Wall Street banks, Bernie Madoff, Jack Abramoff, the Gulf oil spill, the recent coal mining disasters, and the corporate controlled Supreme Court.

We are fighting back on behalf of the 87 percent of Americans who do not want corporations to buy politicians and control our government.

no one could doubt President Bush’s [and Karl Roves’s] support for our troops, or his love of country and commitment to our security.

Throughout our history, America has been willing to bear the burden of promoting liberty and human dignity overseas, understanding its link to our own liberty and security. But we have also understood that our nation’s strength and influence abroad must be firmly anchored in our prosperity at home. And the bedrock of that prosperity must be a growing middle class.

Unfortunately, over the last decade, we have not done what is necessary to shore up the foundation of our own prosperity. We have spent over a trillion dollars at war, often financed by borrowing from overseas. This, in turn, has short-changed investments in our own people, and contributed to record deficits [especially since I gave my and Karls’s friends on wall street who all contributed so generously to my 2008 presidential bait and switch campaign nearly 20 trillion dollars after you elected me and stuck all you suckers and your kids and grandkids with the bill]

  2. I would think that finding someone who has standing to claim civil damages might be the best wedge. Discovery could open up a can of worms, if it could get past the sacred “National Security” argument. Awards of civil damages could be productive of witnesses for a criminal prosecution, probably best brought in a favorable venue in a state court.

  3. …..Karl Rove?…not so much.

this minor news story should have been

the beginning an serious Investigation … imo.

11/9/2009:  Connell’s Family Speaks Out, Warns Of Wrongful Death Suit Against Rove,

Assassination Jackal Tipster Talks Of Sabotage

Eleven months ago, Bush IT guru Mike Connell was killed in a single engine plane crash shortly after being forced to testify in a civil deposition alleging fraud in the 2004 election. According to legal filings prior to the crash, Mr. Connell had received threats from Karl Rove and warnings not to talk. We have been covering this case in great detail at http://www.RoveCyberGate.com.

Now in a new development, Mr. Connell’s wife and sister have spoken out together about their serious doubts that the crash was simply an accident. They disclosed that the FBI recently received a document from a black ops “assassination jackal” tipster who alleges that Mr. Connell’s plane was sabotaged while sitting at the airport prior to his last flight. Former ABC News reporter Rebecca Abrahams broke these developments Monday on The BRAD BLOG.

Today, we are renewing our call for a full federal investigation into the allegations of election fraud made against Mr. Connell, Karl Rove, Jeff Averbeck and other GOP conspirators, and expanding that call to include a criminal investigation into Connell’s death. According to Mr. Connell’s his family, Mike’s best friend and confidant was none other than Barry Jackson, Karl Rove’s deputy and George Bush’s head of political strategies who was implicated in the White House email scandal. Stephen Spoonamore, a top expert in the field of cyber security, said last year that Mr. Connell had asked him how to permanently destroy White House emails.

    BTW, those missing emails,

are what motivate me to start

    my mini-journalistic blogging,

    early in 2007.  … who knew ?

    the real Rove story …
