Desperation Politics

They went for the idgit vote in 2008. It looks like they’re going for the idgit vote again in the 2010 midterms.

  1. We produce unending supplies of idiots and idiocy, mostly in the political and media industries.

  2. you got me edger who can tell whats satire or not these days. I loved Colbert’s testimony in congress he is so nuts and so right on target.

    Colbert…

“I’m not a fan of the government doing anything. But I’ve got to ask: Why isn’t the government doing anything? Maybe this Add Jobs Bill would help. I don’t know. Like most members of Congress, I haven’t read it.”

“I am not going back out there. At this point, I break out into a cold sweat even at the sight of a salad bar.”

“I tried to get them to sing field songs and that sort of thing but they didn’t seem to have any.”

Steny hated it but Nancy thought it was appropriate. Such a surreal and weird world. Just when you think it can’t get crazier it does.

  3. if they should piss or brush their teeth when they roll on outta the sack …

and, for the rest the day, everything goes downhill from there.

most of the “independents” I know HATE both parties – fascists on 1 side, nitwits who couldn’t run a hot dog stand on the other, and us in between.

BTW – Patty Murray (Dim-0-SpineLe$$, Wishy Warshy, Pacified Northwest) had an ad which mentioned tax breaks 2 times and tax cuts 4 times –

I actually thought this diary was gonna be about “Democrats” who are too fucking stupid to know that they’re validating fascist lies by using their talking points – and, I do believe she is that fucking stupid.

I’d actually prefer a wilbur mills kind of corruption – a caddy from the company town owner & a stripper named Fanne Fox – to these high minded sell outs and complete political incompetents.

    rmm.
