Who’s “We,” white man?

Photobucket

Clarifications, please:

We have an interest in reducing civilian casualties because I don’t want civilians killed. And we are going to do everything we can to prevent that.”

What about the civilians’ interest?

“We have an interest in reducing civilian casualties because I don’t want civilians killed. And we are going to do everything we can to prevent that.”

How about eliminating them altogether?

We have an interest in reducing civilian casualties because I don’t want civilians killed. And we are going to do everything we can to prevent that.”

Who’s “We” white man?

“We have an interest in reducing civilian casualties because I don’t want civilians killed.  And we are going to do everything we can to prevent that.”

Who’s ordering the killings?

“We have an interest in reducing civilian casualties because I don’t want civilians killed.  And we are going to do everything we can to prevent that.”

Everything?

We have an interest in reducing civilian casualties because I don’t want civilians killed.  And we are going to do everything we can to prevent that.”

If it’s not killing civilians, what is “our interest?”  It’s been more than nine years, and “I” think “we” deserve an answer.

  2. We make noises to assuage our guilt and your anger when we kill indiscriminately; as all rogue nations do when trying to broaden their footprint into your lands. Deal with it, or your next.

If you mean the American people as a whole. They don’t fucking care. I’m not sad we’ve created, since 2001, a military increasingly filled with monsters (didn’t use to be that way), I’m sad that “the people” favor this killing machine. I would never have imagined, cynical as I was several decades ago, that the American people would go along with something like what has gone on since 2001. I know everyone here says that the people have been duped etc., but I don’t entirely believe that. It is clear to me in my contacts and discussions with a large variety of people from all backgrounds that most people really, honestly, don’t want to know anything about civilian casualties in the latest imperial wars. They honestly either don’t give a shit or happy with the slaughter. There was a time that My Lai excited outrage — now it wouldn’t even make the news and if it did would pass unnoticed. Major, major devolution since that time.

  4. have affordablle, high quality health care just like Congress. You know, the same interest that railed (at every campaign stop) against the stranglehold that lobbyists had on Congress and the Presidency.

Tonto should never be bothered if The Lone Ranger changes his mind. After all, he’s the star of the show with prerogatives that Tonto will never have.
