The Shadow Never Seems To Fade Away

It Makes No Difference – The Band

Since you’ve gone, it’s a losing battle

Stampeding cattle

They rattle the walls

And the sun don’t shine anymore

And the rains fall down on my door

We appear to have collectively entered some alternate reality

in which Karl Rove is actually described as an “author”

and does public service announcements

because he is concerned about anti-Washington sentiment. Larisa Alexandrovna, at-Largeley

I can’t get over you

And the flame still burns

  1. Though Robbie pretending to sing sort of wrecks the video.

  2. Appealing to the paranoid that he helped create.

    “Trust me!”

  3. this s my favorite, from 1968, entitled, “The Weight.”

It now seems that this song was at least four decades ahead of its time, as suggested by this “remake”, now entitled, “Take a Load Off Fannie (Mae).”
