I have a worldview that is not of this world. I know this. It reduces an essay to an incoherent rant which is taken in as many different ways as there are readers of it. All of us endure this journey of life, note I did say endure here and not dance through, skip through happily or sing through. You are now sitting there pondering not reading the rants of a grumpy old man but my latest point is that everybody is a product. You, I and the rest of all living humans on this planet are a product of their place of birth. You, I and the rest of the humans on earth are a zero order species and I can do it without a single link.
Entertain for a second the possiblilty I came here from a distant planet to observe the civilization that created the radio signals we picked up. I got to be the witness to learn about this “civilization”. Here is the higly condensed version.
OK, two thousand years ago a preacher of peace, love and understanding was dubbed the son of God and what did you do. Nailed him to a cross. That cross became the symbol for Holy Wars, witch and heretic burnings and the editing rights to the books of God. So you are still violent, you don’t tolerate people who don’t conform to a group dogma and the more intelligent amongst you get the upper hand in telling you how to live.
Fast forward to the present day.
Not only are you still violent now you have the technological prowess to kill in hundreds of ways not just yourselves but every living thing on the planet.
You preach peace, love and understanding yet have created infinite excuses by which to not tolerate your neighbor.
The more intelligent amongst you have assumed world leadership mostly for their own benefit. I am not responsible for the belief system you wish to project upon me. My rejection of both left and right political parties is complete along with any possibility of returning to that particular golden age of America I grew up in.
