He gets into a great argument that’s not only hilarious, but exposes what’s so wrong with the Washington establishment.

It’s not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

That he should be treated so badly and described as a “rock musician” is deeply insulting. Jesus I forgot the 80’s were so idiotic I had forgotten all about that stuff they were talking about. It’s quite a spectacle seeing this giant of man among such pygmies. BTW, I’m not 100% Zappa fan but I respect the hell out of his music and his ability to bring rock, jazz and classical music together which deeply influenced me musically.

  1. I have seen this clip many times.

I like the calm manner in which he tells the truth.

Now, I`m going to watch it again.

  2. Zappa was fantastic.

  3. … or clairvoyant, or both. Note his comments around the 10-minute mark:

The biggest threat to America today is not Communism, it’s moving America toward a fascist theocracy and everything that’s happened during the Reagan administration is steering us right down that pipe.

That statement sent shivers down my spine.
