There I am, minding my own business at 5:30 last night, Past Avocado Lake going home to the packer game when! Three big ole boar pigs appear about 100’0 feet in front of me. A Honda heading north hits one and veers toward me, I duck, miss the second pig and whack the third with my brand new Trunda.
The Hondas a mess, airbag deployed, driver all shock up, guys from San Jose and can’t believe he hit a pig! His pig is dead, we get my rope and pull him off the road, pig musta weighed 250 pounds. (I kept looking at his feet and thinking of menudo!) My pig has a broken back and the poor bastard struggles mightily until a County mountie dispatch’s it with a shot gun that sends pig grey matter all the witness’s that were in attendance.
Dumb Cop! Couda used his off duty 9mm but no, had to add to the mess.
Result, Tundra fine, me? I’ve seen worse. Kinda feel bad for the Cop who had to go 10-19 to clean up and explain why his John Wayne attitude got the better of him.
Guess I’ll go to Red Robins and have a pulled pork sandwich for lunch.
Coulda been worse….it coulda been around here and been a moose…..the outcome would have been very different and not in the least bit humorous….
