DISTRACTIONS

( – promoted by buhdydharma )

I`ll start this weeks “Distraction” with tonight`s  sunset.

It seems appropriate for Black Friday, something I know most of you never bought into.

The rest of the images are from this past week.

They are from my house, on my street, & where I work.

I hope these are distraction enough to take your worries away, if only momentarily.

You may always cheat a little & look at them a little longer than momentarily.

I hope you all have something in your life you are thankful for.

  1. These are for you, not for me.

All images are clickable leading to more, on the respective image subjects.

Some, such as the Malibu Sunset, view better in the larger sizes.

This particular one is 42″ long x 18″ high x 300 res. in my larger file.

I just finished it between shooting it & now posting it.

I also reply to all comments &/or questions, not due to my good manners solely, but because I enjoy doing so.

  2. My only comment for tonight will be to question the third up from the bottom “cactus.”

thankful i have a knucklehead in my life who brings me gorgeous pictures every week!

    levitation is a beautiful shot.

i have 4 or 5 pots of bromeliads. 3 of them are like yours & a couple have stripey white/green leaves w/magenta flowers.

    i love bromeliads.

  3. Knucklehead’s weekly photos of heaven on earth. Wish I could borrow your backyard and bring it to Massachusetts!

Did you spend Thanksgiving with family? I hope it was a lovely day for you. And Coconut, of course.
