The Summer of Hate 2009

( – promoted by buhdydharma )

Hunter S. Thompson revised 2009

The hippies Wingnuts, who had never really believed they were the wave of the future anyway, saw the election results as brutal confirmation of the futility of fighting the establishment on its own terms by stealing elections and voter suppression.

There had to be a whole new scene, they said, and the only way to do it was to make the big move – either figuratively or literally –

from
Berkeley to the Haight-Ashbury cognitive dissonance to sheer lunacy, from pragmatism to mysticism, from politics propaganda to dope violence…

The thrust is no longer for change obscene wealth” or progress retrogression” or “revolution blind obedience,” but merely to escape enslave, to live on the far far right perimeter of a world that might have been they do not understand.

Yep, it’s Hatestock 2009 and Terribly Stupid Ted is the headliner.

STAGE ANNOUNCER: “…the brown ammo that is circulating around us isn’t too good.”

.

“The war is coming to the streets of America and if you are not keeping and bearing and practicing with your arms then you will be helpless and you will be the victim of evil.”

Liberal buffoons believe in John Lennon’s lyrics: “All we are saying, is give peace a chance.”  I believe what Karl vonClausewitz wrote: “To secure peace is to prepare for war.”

Peace and love will get you killed. True peace is achieved through the application and unrelenting use of superior firepower. link

Now appearing on the Fear Stage next to the Port-o-Potties, MC Rove

“As people do better, they start voting like Republicans – unless they have too much education and vote Democratic, which proves there can be too much of a good thing.”

.

…when people say ugly things? It doesn’t affect me. They want their words to affect me. And as a result, I’m not gonna let ’em. But when people say, “You’ve created this climate of fear-” I laugh.

Hang on, let me just tell you what I’m thinking. I’m thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I’m wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out — is this wrong?

The most used phrase in my administration if I were to be President would be “What the hell you mean we’re out of missiles?”

Scheduled, but failed to appear…
