Saturday Night Follies – Open Thread

Another Saturday night and I ain’t got nobody

I’ve got some money cause I just got paid

How I wish I had someone to talk to

I’m in an awful way



Well, fellow Blogistanian travelers. We meet tonight in the spirit of Yusuf Islam, which, for those of us old enough to remember, means some dude named Cat Stevens. These were the heady days that spawned The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, or O(+>) in ASCII, whatever.

This Saturday Night is the Perfect Storm for social blogging and Cat Stevens retrospective – the govmint military retirement check hit the bank today and Honey Do is visiting up North. This all leaves me opportunity to conduct online mischief and simultaneously plumb the social minds contained herein.

Sooo … shall we begin?

    Is DD sorta the old folks home of the blogosphere? I love the laid back feel that I get here, but is this seriously one of those roll up the streets at 9 PM places? Just trying to get a feel of the place.
