Surprise Distractions

(@ noon – promoted by NLinStPaul)

My Friday night distractions involve some images that were taken because of my surprise at seeing them, while others were taken because of the surprise the subjects were experiencing, or about to be.

I`ll open with this Iris montage that surprised me, when I opened my front door this morning. They are surrounding my little fountain.

Take a peek & change your outlook, maybe.

Things are pushing many of us to renounce our hopes, but those hopes were our dreams.

Hope may be lost, but dreams are forever.

  1. I hope you enjoy these surprises.

    These are for you.

I will be glad to reply to any questions about these images or how I play with them, towards these end results.

    PEACE

  2. “Infinity” and that fantastic sunset are my favorites…but they’re all wonderful, KH.  Love your reef pics, too…

Wonderful surprises. I love the iris montage at the beginning, but the rest of the photos are stunning, too. Iris is my husband’s favorite flower…

    Thanks so much.

  3. J’aime bien l’iris Japonaise!

I love them all — interesting and beautiful!

    Merci, mon copain!

  4. and knucklehead, I must say, your talent for titling almost exceeds your art!

    beautiful!

  5. beauty is so positive. Visual food for the soul. Thanks.

rather than having developed them all yourself.  Stunning work, great eye.  I’m on board with the enthusiasm for the irises.  And your titles offer a fun hint of your way of looking.

My favorite is the embodiment of peace.  Because of my pyschology, I often have a similar reaction when I gaze on such an expression: “Oh, peace is calm and serious, not happy and light.”  It’s a lesson every time.

  6. beautiful……

did you take all of these ?!?……
