Depose A Dharmanian!

( – promoted by buhdydharma )

Docudharma is a small community of very smart, stunningly attractive people. We may not have all the answers, but we certainly are witty and crafty enough to reply in an amusing fashion! So if you have a question, whether snarky, simple, political or philosophical, be it meta, meaty, maddening or impossible to answer,….what the hell? Post it here and see what happens! You have nothing to lose but your underwear! Heck, there is a chance it might even get answered, possibly even correctly!

Any questions?

Obama is Kicking ass. The Republicans are sucking wind. The Public thinks we are once again on the right track. With every passing day, the independents and non-insane Repubs come to trust him more. With each new day comes a new refreshing gust of a decent future, as the stench of the past eight years is cleared away.

And as not only their power, but the thrall of fear that the Repubs imposed fades…it FEELS like America is awaking from a long bad dream that dominated by a cowboy that was stupider than his cows, a ghoul that could reach a chilling hand of fear right through the TV screen and into the nations collective chest cavity, and a Congress that rivaled the Taliban for sheer religious and ideological nonsense that had no relation to the world most Americans lived in.

Zippity doo da, zippity ay!

But….and there is always a but….

We are just coming up to the tough stuff. Given all of the implications of Obama’s first hundred days, where do you think we are?

Much as I firmly believe all of it is theater I could imagine failure at this time would generate yet another generation of Intelligent Designers(yes, I have seen it as “prophecy”)

    First Question: Republican political effectiveness?

Their popularity is declining, but they are armed to the teeth.  It’s a toss-up.

    Second Question: Torture investigations?

These will definitely continue to move forward, so long as those in power feel there is absolutely no other choice and we tirelessly cut off their endless attempts to fake it.

    Tonight’s Third Question:  Financial crisis?

A few of “us” are doing better having recently received a surprise trillion dollar check in the mail.  For others of us, it’s going to be a long tough summer.

    Fourth Question: Health Care?

According to my insurance company, things are going great.

    Fifth Question: Climate crisis?

I see dry humping in our future.

    Sixth Question: Iraq?

Iraq was a success which resulted in almost a million Iraqi civilian deaths, 4 million refugees, a thoroughly destroyed infrastructure, and the rise of Islamic fundamentalism of every stripe.  It looks as though the job is almost complete.  As an Iraqi refugee asked, “What more can you do to help us?”

Seventh Question: Are we over the hump on AfPak?

The Swat Valley will be a popular tourist destination of Americans by 2010 with many receiving the special hands-on treatment for which the Taliban is famous.

Eighth Question: Your hump.  Is our propaganda machine losing its influence?

I don’t know.  People seem more immune.

Random Answer: I think before the 2010 elections, the Repubs are going to be so thoroughly humped they will have trouble walking!

They’ll be in refugee camps in Texas.  One person’s humped is another person’s obsessive worldview.

    Silly Question: Whose hump?

Michelle Bachman must be provided her own reality show.
