REVISED Youtube Promo: Petition For Special Prosecutor

( – promoted by buhdydharma )

Cleaned it up, slowed down the scrolling, rearranged some images, and generally upped the quality some.

The soundtrack is a copyright free instrumental called “Transformation”.

I think it looks not too bad, for what we need it for. Let me know how you like it, or don’t like it. Either way  this is what we have!

  1. and I love the video.

My only critique is that the last group of scrolling words traveled too fast for me to read. But then, that might just be me. I’ve had problems with that before where others haven’t.

It also makes me think that over at The Unapologetic Mexican, Nezua is altering his blog format and going to go with videos rather than verbal posts. There are so many new mediums that are available to us (at least those of you with these kinds of skills). Its VERY cool to see you working with them!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. A great idea and well done!

I had the same problem as NL and missed a bit of the text as it scrolled by.  But that might get people to watch it twice.

You are an activist after my own heart! Great job! The music is very generic, like a B TV movie, but what can we expect for free. The argument is powerful. The scrolling bit is a popular format.

    YouTube! You’re going viral!

    “Big time.”

  3. You spent quite some time on this and it looks great.  You compliment the efforts from this end and I shall continue my efforts in my own paranormal world.

  4. It’s really quite good (second version).

If I were going to make changes, and I’d want others to be convinced this was a step in the right direction before I did anything, I’d try to edit the text at the very end, cut the number of words, try to have less to read.  It gets to be tiring.  This probably doesn’t really matter very much, because the scrolling does pull you along for the whole time, but it might make it a little tighter.

Bravo!  Wonderful work!  Make it viral!!

  5. The second version is much easier to read.  The music is fine and the message is superb.   Congrats on putting this together in short order.  I definitely think you have a future in video. 😉

    awesome, Edger.

  6. This is a terrific effort and for your first one, pretty dynamic!

I didn’t have trouble reading, per se, but I think the lettering in white got lost in some of the background, here and there, thus, making it a little more difficult to read.

I would agree with davidseth on shortening up the ending of wording somewhat, but given the amount of time involved to do so, it seems a bit too much.

I really like it and the concept — a little on the order of Greenwald’s BraveNew Videos, etc.

    Kudos to you, Edger!

  7. …It’s wonderful  Thanks & Congrats Edger.

  8. Ten hours before starting revisions!  The result should help Bush et Cheney the fair trial they are guaranteed by the Constitution they have done their very best to destroy.
