Enough!

(9 am. – promoted by ek hornbeck)

Uh Oh! I’m going to have to deal harshly with the King of Mud Sling, Karl Rove himself.

You see, these simple little discussions that Rove and Cheney and Bush and (enter your favorite Neo-Con here) are holding, while on their “Bush Legacy Tour:  He Was Really Good At Keeping America Safe” really need to be refuted.  Immediately.  Harshly.

So, BushCo kept the USA safe?  Well, except for that 9/11 thingy.  Oh and that anthrax thingy.  Oh, the disruption of cash flow into the average American citizens bank account.  Um, there was also that spying on Americans thing.  With a topping of torturing people.

I could go on, but you get the picture, right?  RIGHT?

Right!

I have had enough of the incredible wingnut disinformation spewing like the fountain at Caesers Palace over the Bush Administration.

Enough, dammit!

Enough lies.  Enough revisionist history.  Enough Dick, Condi, Alberto, and the whole Rummy crew.  Enough incredible bullshit thrown out to the American people by the wheelbarrow-full.  Enough subterfuge, enough secrecy, enough craziness and most of all, enough WRONGNESS.  Easily felt, greasy on your skin, horrible on your tounge and acid in your brain Republican Wrongness.

Oh yes, it is time to deal harshly with these cretins.  Certainly not because I don’t agree with them.  Hell, I can disagree with the people I love and still deal with them quite NON-HARSHLY. The reason we MUST deal harshly with these people going forward is simple.  They continue to lie their way out of slimy corners in nasty places that no one should ever be allowed to return FROM.  Why?  The corporate media allows them to do so.

It is time for the citizen media to never allow one more BS discussion to go unchallenged for even an instant.  They must be challenged, right now, this minute and with everything we have.

Check this. Karl Rove is given a softball, hell, a leading question to defend GWB on FauxNews.  Of course.  Read this and tell me that you, I, everyone that cares about this country and this world should not treat this attempt to revise the Bush Legacy of crimes against humanity into something GOOD and KIND without treating the idiots that spew this crap HARSHLY.  Right away.

From Republican News:

Colby: Karl before I let you go much of what the President-elect inherits, the tough economic times, the war as you raised, health care, so many issues facing so many Americans. There’s a lot of finger pointing that the Bush administration is responsible for a lot of what ails us right now and I wonder whether at the time that the President Bush took office he could not have predicted that we would have 9-11 and that national security needed to be priority number one. Do you predict in the end the legacy for President Bush will be that we have not had another terrorist attack? That he has kept us safe and that his priorities were in order?

Rove: I think that will be a big part of it. I think history is going to see him as a man who put America on a war footing in a struggle that will have shaped the nature of this century. He will be seen as someone who liberated Afghanistan and Iraq. Fifty million people now live in freedom in those two countries who did not know freedom before. And he will also be seen as somebody who’s created a strategy to confront terrorism that is going to make America and the world safer in the years to come.

Look, judgments of history are harsh in the short run and unfairly so many times. Harry S. Truman left office. In fact the slogan at the time was “To err is Truman”. He left town not very popular and yet history regards him now as a much different person and I think this President is not going to leave office with that same state. He’s going to be at a relatively low ratings but much better than some of his predecessors.

History though is going to be kind to him at the end. I’m absolutely confident of that.

 My harsh emphasis

Are you, as an American, going to sit still and allow this propoganda to be sent out on American airwaves and NOT get right back up in the face of those that have caused the misery that our people are now experiencing?  Are you?

We don’t need to fight with those across the aisle.  We need to continue to OWN them when they use lies and deception to further their horrid agenda.

and still win the day.  We must rise above.

I am willing to rise above when the corporate media stops allowing the incredible lies and simple bullshit that the Republicans throw against the wall and hope will stick.

Enough bold faced lies that are allowed to fester in the psyche of the US population.  I’m dealing harshly with this now, in the future and right away before the story gets legs.

I would ask you all to do so as well.
