From politics of hope to politics as usual

An editorial from http://socialistworker.org: http://socialistworker.org/200…

I like the point about how Barack may actually be the one running for W’s third term.  I also wonder just how much he’ll actually fight FISA before capitulating (later today).

Is the Pony/Pie/Hide rating system too cutsie?

  1. After that, well, hell, he’s got an election to win! Get on the bandwagon!

  2. that he’ll ‘change’ his mind should he become President.  My guess is that he’ll like the power.

I’ve been emailing and calling BO’s campaign.  I sent the strongest message I could.  I told BO he’d lost my vote.

Will probably hold my nose and still vote for him.  I live in a blue state though so it wont matter much.  I voted for Clinton Triangulation in the 90s.  For 8 years it did not bring the change needed.  It slowed the Rethugs down a bit but it was really just Republican Light.

This FISA compromise is not inspiring.  Just more republican light behavior.  I told BO – No More Money and No Vote from me until he grows a spine and votes NO on this compromise.  This FISA compromise is just not inspiring.
