A little Star TV & night symphony

I went outside last night to regain some calm…lose some ire…

& watch a little star TV.

I sat gazing up at the little twinkling lights, O so far away…

Watching the winds passage as it hurried thru the pines

letting my mind wander where it would

this phrase & that popped into my brain

going round & round again

then out came a fairy carrying a tiny lantern

my mind stopped & watched her instead

she twirled off to join her friends

they danced above my fields

and as I watched I began to hear

the symphony

frogs down at the pond croooaking

crickets all around chirruping

an owl in the distance who-hooing

a whip-poor-will began his nightly performance

a dog on the hill behind me joined in for a bit

I began to discern different voices

and heard

all sang their own song

then listened

it was astounding

    see you tomorrow

  1. … on a chilly July evening, after the last bus for the evening to the suburb I was living in at the time, and Orion was glittering upside down on the Horizon like diamonds, and looking up at the Southern Cross.

And behind it the millions of stars making up the Milky Way.

Never saw it off the deck of a boat on a heading to the Marquesas, but.

everything, everyone, has a story to sing…

tune in to the messages of the universe…

    they mean something…

    “…” dedicated to theevolutionarysieve

who I hope is out there watching the stars tonight…

  5. Thank you so much Ria.  It’s always a good thing to take time out to be soothed and awed by the beauties of nature.

  6. Earths own heartbeat, you know, is what you hear.
