Today is February 7th…. You know what that means, don’t you??
You have a mere seven days to come up with something!
One Week from today, Next Thursday in fact is…
Valentine’s Day!!!
And This Year is going to be different…
this year will be the Year That’s Remembered….
Because I’m here to help you… As a Community Service!
(& I hope the rest of the pony gals will pitch in too)
& together we’ll find your inner romantic….
& a memorable gift that needn’t be costly… but it must come from the heart.
I’m all for a simple gift… something done in a new way is usually cool…
a bottle of wine, a couple glasses, cheese, french bread & a tablecloth can become a picnic…
Ah~ you say it’s cold outside…
So have a picnic inside next to the fire! In the morning!
I’m all for calling in sick on Valentine’s Day, but since this year it is ~Next Thursday… how about take Friday off… go somewhere for a long weekend. Pack up the tent & the dog & head south… find a National Park & go camping!

I recall years ago dating a fella who said he did not want to go out for Valentine’s Day because the restaurants would be “too crowded” but he ever so kindly allowed me to pick an alternative day. The romance! The thrill!
