Pony Party: Pictures

Nothing fancy this morning. Now that I have whined like an addled lost cow about my stressful week and let’s face it I didn’t lose my job or go hungry or face great adversity or torment so in the end what is there to really complain about?

Here are a few random pictures I took around home and the neighborhood…

I don’t know why Sawyer kitty looks so grouchy in this picture. Maybe it is because I wouldn’t let him eat these guys…

    Looove that Arno!

I’ve finally quit procrastinating… it occred to me this morning if I’d been packing instead of blogging I’d already BE at the farm. O, silly Ria- inertia has got her bad!

    Sooo… I’m packing! Yes, really!!

I’ve already packed: quilting stuff, some self-sufficiency & gardening books, reading books, clothes for two weeks.

I have to finish: getting chrismas boxes into crawl space (like tetris, but half-full already), couple loads of laundry, bath/medicine stuff, dog stuff, & asst foodstufs I can’t live without (^.^)

We leave in the AM!! YAY!!

  2. Photobucket

He, too, likes to eat birds.  And train large dogs in appropriate etiquette. I’m a little worried about him because he has a seizure disorder of some kind.  He had some seizures last night, but today is doing fine (we had to give him meds) again.  I think all of this stems from a spine injury he got in the barn about 5 years ago.  Something fell on him while he was hunting and he was stuck for 3 or 4 days under it and we couldn’t find him.  When he finally returned, he was starving and his tail was paralyzed.  His tail still has no sensation,  but the rest of him is fine.  He talks a lot.  And has other good qualities too numerous to mention in a comment.
