a momentary blip

i go back and forth over it. the circumstances in which we find ourselves. sometimes it’s plain: nature taking its course. there’s something better than humans out there. so we, along with all the other creatures who disappeared to make way for others, will be swallowed up into a swirling universe.

on the other hand…

maybe that’s just a bunch of shit. and there is no rhythm or consequence in ways we understand.

maybe this – us being here – is really a random event. no purpose. no meaning. no balance. no system.

NO SYSTEM… just one random event in a universe filled with every possibility thought, unthought, known, unknown. maybe we are NOT so special.

there must be gazillions, among the millions of billions and billions of trillions, of configurations out there. and we are just an ordinary event in this turbulent ever-changing ever-erupting universe.

and just maybe, if there’s any truth in this, it can liberate us. like when somebody says to you: this is the way it is supposed to be or this is the way it should be, you can tell them to go fuck themselves. really.

heh. it has to occur to you at some point that YOU get to define life if, in fact, life has never been defined by some higher power. or some supreme nature. or some overarching order of things.

it means nobody gets to own what life means. it’s the ultimate act of creation: our own. to become. what we want. to make power plays. to make choices. to take sides.

it’s happening everyday. all around us. day and night. cold and warm. wet and dry. breathing and not. we are all explosions in an exploding universe. how can i not be moved by the power of it all? the bigness of it. the power there to be used, pulled inside, focused, and then spilled out again. and then, the smallness of it.

nobody. owns. us.

nobody. owns. us.

nobody………………… not George Bush. not the mortgage company. or your mastercard. not your employer. how can i stand here, amid the moving masses, and not want to be. be free.

you’re everything YOU need. you’ve got everything you need. find it. dig it out. stand here. right here. you belong here. and we decide to be better beings. kinder. fairer. looking for equity on a blue planet for all manner of creatures.

that’s my side. that’s how i’m defining it. i have the energy to change the world. when i stand here with you.

i’m standing here with you… just a momentary blip in the universe.

ps… fuck capital letters.

and think about the great randomness of it all…

    isn’t it quite amazing-

-that you can put your feet on the floor & not float away…

-that the sun ‘rises’ each and every day…

    -that rain falls…

    many many minor miracles

    and hardly anyone even notices

  1. memorable blip.

We are going to restore government of the blips, by the blips, and for the blips to this country.  The Founding Blips expect it of us, the 16th Blip of the United States showed us how, and we are going to get it done.

    BLIP POWER!

…which apply, I would ruin the idea of presenting them in a series. 😛

  2. … you have been taking journeys and your writing is benefiting from that, imo.

    Nize stuff.

  3. makes one think. i hope more than one though. i have a theory that kinda fits in. i dont believe we belong on this plant. all we do is screw it up. i am always amazed by nature. the awesome series of planet earth and blue planet. we think we are smart. we have not produce anything that is one gazillionth (your word) as amazing, awesome and remarkable as millions of things the big guy/gal/it/they have. if we wernt her all would be in harmony. no war. no human created global warming. no animal extinction. no destruction of the rain forests. etc etc. just survival of the fittest and perfect balance. maybe we are aliens. no caitals, apostrophes, or correct spelling

  4. “where are we going with this” well i confirmed my response, i sent it to myself so i doubt you saw it (no capitals again)

I am not to bright, you are getting me confused, first you ask me where (0.00 / 0)

this is going and then you tell nocatz that Rusty is cute and a good kisser, isnt nocatz gone? I don’t know where we are going with this-:)
