Dancing With The Wingnuts

Or, how to take logic 15 times around the dance floor and still come out looking like a horses ass.

The Twist
Norman Podhoretz speaking about Iran: PODHORETZ: First, I want to say that I think the attitude expressed by Fareed Zakaria represents an irresponsible complacency that I think is comparable to the denial in the early ’30s of the intentions of Hitler that led to what Churchill called an unnecessary war involving millions and millions of deaths that might have been averted if the West had acted early enough. […]

Let me respond to that. You know, similar arguments were made about Hitler in the early ’30s, and it appalls me that this kind of attitude can still prevail after what we should have learned from the words of despots.
So, little Norman thinks that  anyone who doesn’t want to bomb Iran back to the stone age its do to a Hitler Love Crush.

Funky Chicken
President Bush once again today accused the Congress of Wasting Time because they would like to end the war in Iraq.
The House of Representatives has wasted valuable time on a constant stream of investigations and the Senate has wasted valuable time on an endless series of failed votes to pull our troops out of Iraq. And yet there’s important work to be done on behalf of the American people.
This coming from George “I’m on vacation” Bush and John “109 Days” Boehner two people who are experts at wasting time.

The Mashed Potato
A wingnut blogger compares Ari Fleischer to?
It was at that moment I saw Ari Fleischer in a totally new light: He was a modern day Moses leading his people out of slavery, into freedom. But rather than leading them out of the land of Egypt, he was taking them out of the bondage of the Democratic party.
Yes, you read that right; Ari Fleischer is the new Moses.
People say there aren’t any saviors. Ari Ari Ari

Robotonic

Who should be blamed for Americas policy on Torture? George Bush, Shotgun Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld of course not. One must blame the U.S. Congress.

Pat Buchanan told MSNBC’s Dan Abrams that “Congress should pass a law outlawing torture. I guess the Geneva Convention is just a figment of our imaginations. In the same segment Michael Reagan stated  “That a lot of people think that Lindsey Graham should be waterboarded” No they do not. They  think the sushi head should follow the law and international treaties which outlaw torture.
But, after watching too many episodes of 24 that just isn’t possible.
