Pony Party: Your Morning Grouch

We get up fairly early but if there isn’t any coffee in the house, panic, chaos, and a sense of impending doom fill the house. In fact, when I go to visit dear old Mom who drinks coffee as an occasional treat, I have to remember to bring my own coffee. I am originally from Southern Ontario where a chain called Tim Horton’s is king. My husband was pretty astonished to notice that not far from my mother’s house were two Tim Horton’s directly across the road from one another.

It made sense to everybody in town since you don’t want to have to cross the road to get your coffee. My God, the horror and injustice. I know it is all in my head and I don’t need it.

It is simple. No coffee for calicoes in the morning and this is what you get:

After the fix sets in you get a cheery groove:

The morning routine here is feed pooties, feed dogs, start coffee, dispense clean water for animal rulers, clean litter boxes, talk Arno for walk/run/ romp in pasture, feed dogs, and contemplate the universe in a very fuzzy incoherent manner. What is your morning routine?

Don’t forget, we don’t want recs for the Pony Parties, we do want to hang out and chat with you. Undercovercalico in the house right now.
