Pony Party, Spoiler Alert

Oh, so you’ve braved the ‘Spoiler Alert’ and peeked inside to see what I’m spoiling…

Well, according to The New York Post’s page six, an extra has revealed some of the previously top-secret details of the upcoming “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”.

Dare we explore??

Ok, so we dare.  Well, here are just a couple of juicy tidbits revealed in the article linked above..>>..>>

Indy, played once again by Harrison Ford, and the Soviet army are both searching for a priceless skull made of crystal in the jungles of South America.

The Russians take Indy hostage and then blackmail him by threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Marion Ravenwood, portrayed by Karen Allen. Cast as the son is Shia LaBeouf.

The offending actor, Tyler Nelson, gave an interview to a local paper in his hometown, revealing information he had signed an agreement not to.  Tsk tsk.  The linked article suggests his part will probably be cut from the film, but there’s no indication of where that information may have come from.  I speculate that it is merely speculation…care to speculate??

Please dont feed the ponies…

Without further ado, the floor is yours….

for admitting your creative deficiencies by trotting out yet another sequel to yet another blockbuster.

At least this is looking to be a good great year for film otherwise.  I can’t wait for the new Coen film.

  1. The thing I liked about Indiana Jones at the beginning of the Raiders of the Lost Ark was his skepticism. While it would never have flown with Spielberg or Hollywood, I would have liked to see Jones keep his disbelief in religion and myths throughout the series. I wish he would have remained a man of science and history and  not have been transformed into a man of magic and fantasy.

Sort of like Doctor Who was in the 1970s. While people around the Doctor were seeing things as magic or the act of the gods, the Doctor would show how it was just science or technology. I think that would have been a good message for Americans.
