Yesterday I sat watching the flag out front flying in the breeze, thinking of how I used to feel seeing it and how I feel seeing it now. How I once saw it, with an overflowing heart full of love and pride, was based on lies I was taught.

Now I look at it, and think how ignorant and arrogant we are to think we own this land. How ignorant and arrogant are all people who claim “ownership” of any portion of the land mass on this planet.

    You ask “Who defines America?”.

My answer is “anyone who needs to.”

    I don’t need to anymore.

I think I finally stopped being an “American” and became simply a world citizen the night I watched the bombs falling on Baghdad, killing anyone in their path. It felt as if I were right there too, feeling the shock and awe of death raining down, huddled up with my own loved ones, wondering which moment would be our last.

  1. Nope.

    Just can’t say, really.

  2. I’m lucky if I can watch a whole 6-minute YT w/out a computer crash.  50 mins. is out of the question.

But I’m pretty sure I get your point.

  3. There is an Alan Watt.

And there is an Alan Watts.

Are both in fact different or the same.

Little doubt we are all casualties if we dont’ “change”.
