Obama and the Middle East

Original article by Uri Avnery, subtitled A Knight on a Gray Horse , via counterpunch.com.

This is short since I’m at work.  It’s a two parter in one article.  The first part looks at Obama.  I think the key paragraph is this:

So if some of the illusions of the black wunderkind’s adulators have been shattered and everybody has been returned to the real world – they had better make their decision at the ballot box in a realistic way.

Makes one wonder if affordable health care is ‘what the market will say is affordable’ or if it’s what is really affordable.

The second part looks at the Kadima Party’s leadership fight (and takes the view, I think, that it’s pretty much along the lines of the choices we have for president, IE the bosses are going to win the nomination either way).

Avnery’s a pretty good writer.  I think it’ll be worth your time.

Is the Pony/Pie/Hide rating system too cutsie?
