If there was any doubt that George W. Bush was an asshole who couldn't give a shit about the world, here's further proof. From The Telegraph, At the G8 Summit, Bush: 'Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter'

The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."

He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

I am reading the link and I still think it's an Onion story ... this can't possibly be true.

I don't have words.  I don't have an adjective awful enough for him.

Argh.

Jesus, you think you can't be more shocked at, or ashamed of, him (4.00 / 8)
and what it says about our country that he's been at the head of it for almost 8 long years.

This is on par with joking about WMD under the tablecloth.  The man has no shame.

It's a child's mind in a man's body. So he has no idea how to behave appropriately. He comes from a family that has had no notion of right and wrong for generations, and since they're privileged, no one ever called them on it.

Interesting that the boy-emperor has been such an embarassment and so destructive to the most powerful empire in history.

Good-bye to the idiot dauphin. Future generations won't believe that we let ourselves be ruled by such a fool.

to help improve America's reputation abroad. To show that there is more to him than just warmongering. That he can be a lighhearted and cheerful buddy too.

He loves it when the public believes he's "just kinda stupid" and "doesn't realize what he's saying or doing". He knows what he's doing - Bush is a master manipulator. I expect that throughout the rest of his term, we'll see a lot more of the Big Man On Campus strutting around with a "fooled ya, suckers" smirk on his face.
