In Memoriam: Freedom

Is this what our brave men and women fought and died for, a police state?  Bush had people arrested at his rallies for tee shirts and bumper stickers, now people are being arrested for dancing which the courts are ruling is a form of “protest”. What would Jefferson have thought about this and the way the Park Police behaved?

  1. The alt sites have been documenting this for years now.  Might sound like a sci-fi movie theme but only a scant year ago “we” switched to the enhanced format of digital TV.  Put that into the context with the subject of subliminal advertizing, which has it’s roots in the 1950s to arrive at today and or Scott Carpenter’s film “They Live”.

Here is todays alt media summation.

Nay, nay! Absolutely, without a doubt definitely shows that poor dancer slammed to the ground. WTF?

  2. Yeah, you would think that nothing could surprise me to that “jaw dropper” point anymore but watching this video and reading the story did send me to that point yesterday.  And I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach. It was so blatant.  And the thing that I could not shake afterward was that I was, that all of us were going to just let this go by without taking it to the streets.

Where is the organized left?  Why are these organizations that we all donated money to over the years not organizing protests?  Something?

Slowly, as more of these things happen, as PATRIOT Act extensions pass so quietly and become normalized, slowly… slow boil.  Frogs in a pot.
