More police abuse of power — woman calls for help, gets forcibly strip searched by male deputies

(11 am. – promoted by ek hornbeck)

Wow.  So this is what can happen if you’re a woman, you get assaulted, and you call the police for help.   The police come and arrest you, then hold you down while male cops forcibly strip search you, and someone videotapes the whole process.

From Cleveland Ohio.

Cops in this country are absolutely out of control.  They’ll taser anyone, mothers in front of their kids, grandmothers, they don’t care, a cop with a taser is a fucking menace to society.

And now male officers forcibly strip searching women?  This is in direct violation of the Sheriff Department’s own official policy on strip searches.

Videotaping this was fuel on the fire of this woman’s humiliation, but at the same time, it’s the only evidence we have as to what really happened.   According to the news report, the police are holding back other video, not providing it to the woman’s lawyers.

I hope she sues them so bad the whole town goes bankrupt!

  1. I saw this coming years ago… and even I have had my own encounters with cops.

I may even be arrested tomorrow MYSELF because of an incident I was involved in TODAY.

Oh, what a day I had!!!!  Tomorrow, I get to go head to head with the chief of a local municipality department.

Are they moving Gitmo to Cleveland?

Cops are sometimes really awful, and don’t use good judgement when they pick out who is the perpetrator and who is the victim. I once had a domestic dispute that the cops where the cops got called. It ended up with teh Chief of Police in the kitchen laughing and drinking coffee with my ex, and the cops telling me that I would go to jail if they ever got called again.

I don’t know why this happens. I’ve heard other stories that are similar. I’ve never heard a story quite like the one in this video before, though.

  2. Just noting, this wasn’t Cleveland, but Stark County (Akron or Canton).

  3. In January of this year, my mother attacked me with a snow shovel.  I called the cops, they come out, and who is threatened with arrest?  ME.  Why?  Because when one of the pigs said the situation was ridiculous, I said, “yes sir, it is ridiculous,” or words to that effect.  I voiced my agreement.  For that, I was threatened with arrest.  On what charge?  Whatever the cop pulled out.  I asked for his name and badge number, and the situation both deteriorated and improved from there.  I avoided arrest, thankfully, because I knew not to be intimidated and because I got on the phone to my councilwoman (it helps to know people).  I also knew that regardless of what happened, I would fight for my rights, and I let the pigs know I knew what those rights were and that I would fight for them.

So many cops in Ohio and the rest of the nation are pigs.  This is police state fascism, and it goes unpunished.

They have the guns and the badges and they can make up the laws they want when they want. And the “justice” system will back them up every time.

Nothing new here. If you’re not connected then just bend over.
